The Fall 2024 session runs from September 15 through December 15. All classes meet via Zoom. Participants may register for one or more levels.
Level 1: Meets Sundays, 9-10am PT, or 4-5pm PT
Level 2: Meets Sundays, 10-11am PT, or 4-5pm PT
Level 3A: Meets Sundays, 9-10am PT, or 4-5pm PT
Level 3B: Meets Sundays, 10-11am PT, or 5-6pm PT
Level 4: Meets Sundays, 5-6pm PT
One-on-one office hours will be available throughout the week as requested. All lesson materials will be available if you would like to follow along on your own.
No classes will be held on Nov 3 or Dec 1.
Deadline to register: August 15, 2024
Session registration fee, per level: $30
No previous experience required.
We will cover reading Hangul, the number system, and basic introductory vocabulary.
Classes on Sundays:

4pm PT
Recommended for those who can read Hangul, have completed Level 1, or wish to retake Level 2.
We will cover basic grammar while integrating speaking practice.
Classes on Sundays:

Recommended for those comfortable with verb conjugation and tenses. Builds upon Level 2 content.

Practical Korean for those who want to learn everyday, applied Korean, based off grammar taught in Level 3A (formerly Level 3).
If you feel familiar with concepts taught in Level 3, we recommend Level 3B to learn how to apply those concepts.

Continuation of content covered in the previous Level 4 classes, following the same format as the Spring 2024 semester. Centers around situational speaking practice.

How does the schedule work?
Classes meet weekly on Sunday (please refer to your level to determine your meeting time).
Can family members attend?
If you would like to attend classes with a family member, please have them register separately so we can get an accurate view of how many people will attend!
Are the courses free?
Beginning in 2024, there is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $30 for each class registrant. The fee allows our volunteer-run program to continue expanding, while maintaining a quality learning experience. The registration fee includes weekly one on one tutoring for extra practice.
